Previous experience

José Ramón Ferrándiz has been a Member of the Judicial Career since he entered by opposition in 1972.

In February 2004, he was appointed Magistrate of the First Chamber of the Supreme Court, a position in which he was until May 2015, having presided during the said phase and since its creation the Section of the First Chamber to which by distribution it is in charge of resolving the appeals on business matters. He was previously President of the 15th Section of the Provincial Court of Barcelona (1990-2004).

He has been Associate Professor of Civil Law for years at the Abat Oliba University Center – CEU San Pablo de Barcelona and Competition and Industrial Property Law at Pompeu Fabra University. Also, President of the Court qualifier of the specialization test in the matters of commercial organizations (2005-2008) and member of the Admission Court to the jurisdiction specialized in Civil Law (2012).

Speaker in more than 100 conferences and contributions in round tables on civil, commercial or procedural law.
